Succulent Art makes living succulent arrangements for event rentals. We offer a variety of shapes, sizes and colors of planted arrangements to be used for events and weddings in the wine country region of Sonoma and Napa Valleys. Succulents provide a greener alternative to floral arrangements and rentals are a way of making trendy arrangements affordable. In addition to our succulent arrangements, we offer custom arrangements, adding fresh flowers or blooming plants. We look forward to working with you!

Kathryn Vast

I have always been fascinated with plants and their endless variations of form and color. As a child, I remember spinning fuchsia blooms between my fingers and imagining them as tiny ballerinas in colorful tutus. In college I studied horticulture, along with art and music, focusing on native California plants, landscape shrubs and perennials. I spent several years working in nurseries growing bedding plants and helping customers with plant selection. Eventually I discovered the world of flower arranging, the perfect marriage of horticulture and art. I have been creating floral designs for events for the last 20 years along with cello performance for public and private events.

Options

Arrangements

Your event needs are largely dependent on table dimensions, the overall look of your venue and, of course, your preference of style. We offer single succulents of mixed varieties in ceramic cubes or chalices. Mixed succulent plantings are available in ceramic bowls, pedestal bowls, boxes and planters. Styles range from shabby chic to classic elegant or modern contemporary. Our images page will show most of our current options and more are being added each season. If you don’t see what you are looking for, please contact me with your ideas. I am also happy to consult with you on linen colors and styles that work best with succulent arrangements.

If you are planning a wedding, you may need more than table top decor. Bouquets, boutonnières, ceremony decor, cake succulents and more can be added to your rental order. Fresh flowers can be added to the mix to add textural variety and color.
